Development of an assessment and design instrument for sustainable fibre composite pressure vessels
In How2MultiWind we are working on making the innovative multifilament winding process applicable for an economic and social-ecological sustainable production of fibre composite pressure vessels for hydrogen storage. For this purpose, parameters, models and instruments for sustainability assessment and technical design are developed in the project together with the Institute of Textile Technology (ITA) of RWTH Aachen University. The subsequent derivation of SME-specific business models supports the transfer into practice. The two-year project is funded within the framework of the Industrial Community Research (IGF) by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) (IGF No. 38 EWN).
