With the goal of shaping Aachen step by step together into a SmartCity, the OecherLab opens as a lively and dynamically developing location where all interested parties can become an active part of Aachen's future. The OecherLab is to be understood as a physical creative space of digitalization. Here, future technologies and concepts that have the potential to change our daily lives are presented, explained and made tangible in an impressive way. In the OecherLab, visions, goals and projects for a digital city of tomorrow are jointly designed, tested and further developed. Within the framework of various event formats, citizens* become co-developers on the topics of mobility, health, trade/inner city and work 4.0 in order to jointly find answers to societal challenges.
