MARNIE
Merging Augmented Reality and Neurostimulation to Improve Enacting

The EIT Health Project MARNIE is developing a new type of therapy for visuo-motor rehabilitation after brain damage. Both the use of non-invasive methods of neurostimulation (e.g. HDtDCS) and the implementation of innovative approaches such as Augmented Reality (AR) are constantly increasing in the field of rehabilitation. By combining these two approaches, the patient's acceptance and motivation are to be increased and the costs and duration of therapy is to be reduced at the same time. MARNIE is a joint project between the Fondation Asile des aveugles (Switzerland) of RWTH Aachen University (Germany), Universidad de Navarra (Spain) and Dropslab Technologies GmbH (Luxembourg). The partners are working on this project between January 2019 and June 2020
