Fair Decisions Integrated Into Your Working Environment
The goal of the FAIRWork project is to bring together humans, artificial intelligence (AI), data, and robots. We want to transform individual decision-making in current manufacturing processes into a cooperative approach. To achieve this goal, the project partners will:
a) Introduce concepts that make human workers trust the decision-making independently of whether the decision is made by a human, by AI, or in a hybrid manner;
b) Enable cooperative and decentralised decision-making to capture the real-world situation more completely and holistically;
c) Introduce more factors to transform the current automated and hierarchical system into a cooperative network with individual responsibilities and competencies.
In this project, the IMA is investigating AI-Based Decision-Making and the effects of transparent AI on its subjective reliability and trustworthiness. Further, we contribute to the development of the Democratic AI-based Decision Support System (DAI-DSS) with the focus on the collection and implementation of AI algorithms into DAI-DSS.
