Visiting the CeBit

The Cybernetics Lab presented itself at this year's CeBIT in Hanover with three application-related projects for digital transformation. As part of the "Innovative Digitalization Projects: Fresh Ideas from NRW" event organized by "CPS:HUB NRW", project leader Sarah Güsken introduced the online shopping platform "Smart Emma" and the local retail project "Shopping Lab Aachen".

Tristan Langer and Phillip Ennen discussed the learning capabilities of robotic systems and their impact on the workplace and jobs presenting the project "ARIZ" (Arbeit in der Zukunft). They illustrated this with an intelligent, adaptive assistance system - a KINOVA service robot that can support both the home environment and factories.
