Hackathon at the Nürburgring on "Save Lives by your Hack"

From March 24 to 25, 2018, the second hackathon on emergency management will take place at the Nürburgring. The first hackathon was a great success with more than 100 international developers. The aim of the hackathon is to develop prototypes and new business ideas in the field of emergency management, with the focus on remote access to smartphones, in order to support communication, information flow and decision-making with professional organizations in an emergency, thereby providing improved support. The hackathon takes place within the framework of the project EmergencyEye®, which is funded by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT Health). The Cybernetics Lab IMA / ZLW & IfU has participated in the organization and implementation of the hackathon under the leadership of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Corevas GmbH. More than 100 international participants are expected. However, there are still some places left. If interested, you can get more information here. If you have questions about the hackathon and about the developed solutions, please do not hesitate to contact Mohammad Shehadeh. - read the report here.
