Award of the Stifterverband for AR/VR learning scenarios

In the AVRiL 2020 competition organised by the Stifterverband, the Cybernetics Lab IMA IfU was awarded the "AVRiL 2020 - Bronze" for its AR and VR learning scenarios. "The mixed reality-supported voice training represents a relevant contribution to lecturer training through the targeted use of the advantages of virtuality, according to the jury's decision. The acoustic simulation of lecture halls and the hybrid scenario in which voice training can be optimised through virtuality are particularly innovative. The scenario focuses on training the voice, but is judged to be very transferable to other aspects of lecturing, such as speaking anxiety.
